Maxxis Chronicle 27.5x3.0" 27.5+ Tire

1   |

The Maxxis Chronicle's low tread pattern and directional tread makes for a fast rolling 29+ tire that is nimble yet hooks up predictably. This one is a Fyxation favorite and we've put loads of miles on our own Chronicles when the snow retreats.

The Chronicle is available as a foldable tire in both 60TPI and 120TPI versions. The 120TPI version comes equipped with Maxxis' EXO side wall puncture protection and is tubeless ready!

27.5+ Rocks

These tires are great. I've got them on a custom built hardtail. They just barely clear my MRP Loop front fork. They roll fast but have traction from here to China. I found the side knobs impressively grippy in the dirt. I even ride 'em on the local snow bike trails when the snow is packed hard enough. They're mounted on Stans Hugo 52mm rims and they've got a really nice profile - not too bulgy, not too flat. Very easy to mount tubeless. I'm running 'em at 10psi for snow biking, 16 for dirt. Again, this tire flat out rocks.
