The Champion is back! The Eastside is a fixed gear bike designed to ride fast, last long and turn heads. Originally introduced in 2013, the Eastside remains our most popular bike and for good reason. Built with quality parts and designed right here in Milwaukee, the Champion is a fixed gear/single speed like no other.
Back for a second season, the all new 2017 Eastside Champion uses an amazing 2 color paint scheme separated by the signature racing stripes of our new Divide Series. The Champion color-way stripes perfectly compliment this stunning 2 toned grey bike. All black parts are all the Champion Eastside needs to give this bike it's fast look that will be the envy of your friends.
Fixed Gear or Singlespeed
All Divide Series bikes ship as a single speed so you can coast, but can very easily be converted into a fixed gear by simply rotating the rear wheel using our flip-flop hub. Single speed bikes make a ton of sense in most urban and suburban areas. They are affordable, easy to maintain and repair and make great commuter and get around town bikes. Fyxation bikes are geared for city riding so even with one gear you can cruise around town with ease.
Rise Bars vs. Pursuit Bullhorn Bars
With the new Eastside Divide Series you have the choice to choose between rise bars or pursuit bullhorn bars. Rise bars offer the rider a more upright ride and are great for commuting and keeping your head up while riding. We provide an extra wide rise bar that gives you plenty of control when navigating through the city. Our Pursuit bar is our most popular handlebar and since we introduced it in 2011 has been one of our most copied products. This bar gives you multiple hand positions while still being able to easily reach your brakes. You can ride in the center, in the drops or on the end of the bars giving you an aggressive bar with tons of options. Either way you can't go wrong but now you can choose your bar at checkout.
The Champion is built using 4130 chromoly steel for both the frame and the fork which means this beauty is light and strong. We use only sealed bearing hubs in our wheels which gives the Champion a smooth ride and is something you typically find in higher end track and road bikes. The Champion uses our go anywhere Session 700 tires which were originally introduced by Fyxation in 2009 and are known around the world for their durability and longevity. Finally, all Fyxation bikes ship with front and rear brakes! While this may seem silly to point out, most fixies and singlespeeds on the market ship with only one brake which is both unsafe and forces you to spend extra money adding parts after your initial purchase.

Our complete bikes ship via FedEx in a well padded professional bike box. The bikes ship 95% assembled and you'll simply need a few tools to get your bike built up and on the road. As always, we recommend taking your bike to your local bike shop to get it built up properly. If you don't have a shop nearby, you'll need a pedal wrench and a hex wrench to assemble your bike.

This is a blast to ride, super easy to maintain, and gets me around my flat city as a daily commuter. I like the somewhat understated paint job that matches with pretty much any color accessory. I'm not riding fixie yet but I love the option! Also, I am originally from Milwaukee so I have a soft spot for y'all :)
I put a Copenhagen wheel on a very functional Eastside and it is a fantastic commuter. Headwind, what headwind.... Small paint chip from shipping (do you have touch up paint) but otherwise a great ride.
I was very pleased with the color choice I ordered - looked very nice, especially with the black rims. Upon first ride, the first thing I noticed was how solid the bike felt (I live & ride in NYC). I haven't been on a bike regularly/daily for over 20 years, so I was a little wobbly, but the ride was fairly smooth. I chose to keep the flip flop hub on the single gear side until my riding legs mature a bit. The only issue I've had thus far was with the seat, which was a bit too hard for me to suffer through, so I purchased a new seat with some cushion, and so far I've been okay. There was some issues with shipping - but the great folks at Fyxation paid for assembly (this may be their policy already, but I was no less appreciative for not having to spend an extra $55). I would totally recommend this ride to someone endeavoring on their first fixie journey.
I have wanted one of these for a few years. This is the least expensive bike in my fleet but is not a cheap bike by any stretch. It is so simple but a blast to ride. Everyone loves the paint scheme as well. Thanks for the great bike.
My Eastside Champion was delivered last week, my local bike mechanic was all smiles as he doesn't get to put together single speeds that often. Not that there was much wrench turning going on because Fyxation makes it pretty easy right out of the box. I was able to take my maiden voyage over this past weekend it was everything I'd hoped for. FUN FUN and more fun. The bikes performance has so far met my expectations, it is a solid bike, and I say that because I could be classified as a ..."Clydesdale" rider hahah and it took all my forces with no creaking or squeaking just fine. I'm so very happy with my purchase. Fyxation makes it very easy. If I could recommend one thing, it would be consider your gearing carefully. It comes 46x17, but if you have some hills......talk to Fyxation, they might be recommending something else, and you'd be smart to take their advice. Great product, highly recommended.
