The Sparta All Road Carbon Fork is our latest foray into the world of carbon fiber following on the heels of the successful launch of our carbon fiber Blackhawk fat bike and the Carbon Adventure Bike. This adventure ready thru axle fork was designed as an upgrade for our Quiver Disc, but is a fantastic upgrade to many other bikes on the market.

I replaced the stock fork on my All City Cosmic Stallion with the Sparta to gain the cargo capacity the stock fork was missing. The replacement was simple. I already ride a 61cm frame so I didn't even need to cut the steerer. The TRP flat-to-post mount 160 adapter worked a charm and there was no additional facing needed for the adapter-to-brake interface. The internal brake routing grommets are fantastic; far better than the tiny rubber ones found on other more expensive forks. Hoses slid through easily, the grommets are simple to get back into the frame, and they stay in place. I dig the adaptability for hub sizing with a simple axle and insert change. The clearance for my SKS P45 fender over a 38mm tire is great, although similar to another reviewer, the crown-to-tire drop is a bit excessive and it's good that I had already fabbed a longer mount for it or the fender-line would have been terrible looking. I've already loaded it up with 13 pounds of summer camping gear distributed between Blackburn outpost cages on the low mounts, and a Revelate handlebar harness up top and it handles very well. There's not any flex-lag in the steering, even with the front end loaded up top to bottom. I'm looking forward to many bikepacking miles on this fork.
