These are awesome for mountain biking!
A few decades of singletrack mtbing and very happy I came across these gems in a local shop. Lightweight, durable and serviceable, the high-impact nylon pedals absorb some of the shock from dreaded pedal rock hits very well, prevent foot slippage and truly help to smooth out riding thru rock gardens, rough trail sections and help absorb impacts from landings. Excellent customer service! Hoping to convince fellow mtbers to convert to these platforms - they will help to make you a better rider.
These pedals great. Super grippy . Year round pedal for sure. Gotta give credit where it’s due, my expierence with Fyxation so far has been great. They have great service. I ordered the wrong size frame bag and they have been super helpful exchanging it for the corrrct size.
They are just what I was looking for. I wanted a larger type pedal due to the fact I wear a boot when riding my bike. These are really solid, sturdy pedals and would definitely recommend them.
I just bought my 2nd pair of these for my fat bike. They work amazing on the trails and in the snow. They are super grippy in any condition. My original pair is on my 6 fyxel (pixel with 6 fyx conversion). I have many miles on those with no issues and plan to give them many more. I took the advice from another review to tighten the pins before using them. I did and have yet to lose one. Each pair comes with extra pins just in case.
