United StatesThis is my 3rd pair of Mesa Platforms I've purchased for various single speed builds. They perform and durability is not an issue, that's why you should buy these. They offer perfect design when considering surface area for your foot, plus the low profile is great for cornering, and they just look dope.
I tried Fyxation platform pedals in 2014 after having foot issues on a 1000km Brevet. Next, I completed a 1500km Randonneuring event without any foot issues. Convinced I converted my entire bike stable to Fyxation Mesa Platform Pedals. With and without straps. I use the Mesa MP(metal spikes) pedals for winter riding. The added grip is great! The sealed bearings have held up well. I think the pedals are a good value.
The super-slim profile looks really good on my bike, and they're so grippy I almost feel like I'm clipped in!
