Made out of a high impact nylon and featuring smooth running sealed bearings, the Mesa thin platform pedal is an affordable alternative to expensive alloy platform pedals. While we originally designed the Mesa pedal for our core urban cycling customer, riders of all kinds have embraced the Mesa pedal because if it's durability, thin bodied construction and affordable price.

This is my 3rd pair of Mesa Platforms I've purchased for various single speed builds. They perform and durability is not an issue, that's why you should buy these. They offer perfect design when considering surface area for your foot, plus the low profile is great for cornering, and they just look dope.
I tried Fyxation platform pedals in 2014 after having foot issues on a 1000km Brevet. Next, I completed a 1500km Randonneuring event without any foot issues. Convinced I converted my entire bike stable to Fyxation Mesa Platform Pedals. With and without straps. I use the Mesa MP(metal spikes) pedals for winter riding. The added grip is great! The sealed bearings have held up well. I think the pedals are a good value.
The super-slim profile looks really good on my bike, and they're so grippy I almost feel like I'm clipped in!
This is my 3rd pair, as my 22 year old son wants to use / have an old Trek 1.2 road bike. Works as advertised!
Bought the Mesa pedal for daily short commuting, mostly on flat road. Big platform, slim profile, great power transfer, smooth ride. This is the best platform pedal I’ve used without getting into more expensive metal pedals. I’m not sure how the plastic pins will hold up after a year or two, but they grip really well, even without straps, especially compared to stock platform pedals. If you plan on doing lots of off-road riding and hitting you pedals on stuff I’d go with at least the metal pin Mesa. For city riding, and not worring about damaging nice shoes, these are sweet!
