The Crimson Eastside was one of our original colors we used when we launched the Eastside track bike in 2013. We retired the Crimson Eastside after a great run in 2015. Our current line up of Eastsides can be found here.
The Eastside is a premium fixed gear bike and that is by design. Developed and tested right here on the streets of Milwaukee, the Eastside blends the comfort and quality of 4130 chromoly steel with traditional track geometry giving the rider an aggressive, responsive and comfortable ride.
Whether you're commuting to work, cruising around the city or looking for a well built bike to use on campus, the Eastside has you covered. The Eastside features wide tire clearance, fender mounts, a flip-flop hub so it can run fixed or single speed and high end Tektro brakes/levers making at home in the most demanding environments.
While we feel the quality of our steel frame and the Eastside's unique design help to define this bike, the clean welds, attention to detail, minimalist styling and high end components are what really sets the Eastside apart.
Instead of using "throw away parts" The Eastside comes stocked with Fyxation parts that we've spent the last 4 years developing and we are proud of that fact. We really can't stress enough the difference that high quality components can make when it comes to ride quality, cost of maintenance and overall performance. From our 6061 Rodeo Pursuit bars, wide body Gates platform pedals and even our trademark tire tread grips, the Eastside is truly a bike we're proud to have our name on.
Be proud of your bike - parts and all.
Note: The Eastside ships as a singlespeed and includes a flip-flop hub so it can also be run as a fixed gear

Our complete bikes ship via FedEx in a well padded professional bike box. The bikes ship 95% assembled and you'll simply need a few tools to get your bike built up and on the road. As always, we recommend taking your bike to your local bike shop to get it built up properly. If you don't have a shop nearby, you'll need a pedal wrench and a hex wrench to assemble your bike.

The bike was beautiful and had good components for the price. My model had silver components and wire bar tape, seat, and wheels. Very nice look. The geometry was a bit tight for me so it was a bit uncomfortable for commuting. This isn't anything bad on the bike because it has a traditional track bike geometry and was clearly stated. It was more about my old body needing a frame with slacker angles.
