Winterize It: Milwaukee Winter Bike Tune-up

Winter is coming and whether you're looking to store your bike in the basement for the winter (boo) or you plan on commuting to work every day, a good winter tune up is always recommended. Bikes that sit around all winter should be prepped for storage and bikes that are on our winter roads need to be able to keep the elements at bay. Here at our Milwaukee bicycle shop, we're offering a great winter tune up special to get your bike ready for the season.

Winterize It Tune Up: For only $45 our professional technicians will do a complete winterization of your bike. This includes cleaning the frame, re-greasing the bottom bracket, headset and seatpost, cleaning and lubing the chain and finishes up with a complete brake and shift adjustment.

Tune Up With Frame Saver: For those of you that want extra protection for your frame, for an extra $30 (total of $75) we'll use Frame Saver on the inside of your frame to help keep corrosion at bay. Using frame saver is highly recommended as it coats the inside of the tubes and provides a protective layer to keep rust away. Water will inevitably get into your frame and in the winter, that water most likely has salt in it. Trust us this is $30 well spent.

Unlike most local bike shops, rather than laying off our staff in the winter and letting them fend for themselves, we keep our guys on the payroll and here in the shop. Help us keep the crew busy and bring in your bike for a tune up today!
