Introducing The Mesa MP Subzero Winter Flat Pedal

February 08, 2018

When winter comes around, most people put their bikes away for the season and turn to their indoor trainers or worse, become couch surfers.  There is however, a large contingent of cyclists that don't fear the elements and actually embrace it. These tough souls will ride year round regardless of the conditions outside which requires gear that are as tough as they are. Introducing the Mesa MP Subzero pedal...

Turning the Lights on with Wishlist MKE

December 18, 2017

We recently had the opportunity to be a part of an amazing effort from Wish List MKE to fill empty storefronts here in Milwaukee during the holidays with carefully designed window displays from five local businesses. Retailers have been closing at a record pace the last few years and Milwaukee, like many other cities, has a number of vacant buildings in what used to be highly desirable retail locations. Wish List MKE set out to change that, even if only for a short time during the holiday season...

2017 Tour de Chequamegon Redux

October 24, 2017

It is hard for me to stop thinking about this year’s Tour de Chequamegon, the 112 mile bikepacking weekend we just put on with Fyxation. On at least three occasions since we got back, I have cracked a beer and relived it looking through all 200 plus photos at the 2017 Gallery page. Fyx Tech: Video Overview of the Manitou Mastodon Fat Bike Fork

September 26, 2017

We recently got our hands on the new Manitou Mastodon fork from our friends over at Hayes and we put together this quick video overview of the product. The Mastodon is a great new option for people looking to add front suspension to their fat bike and we expect to see a lot of these on the trails here in Wisconsin this winter. Cold tested (wink wink) and with plenty of options, we expect to see a ton of Mastodon's going out the door here in our shop in Milwaukee this winter.

Special thanks to Ryan Day from the Hayes Bicycle Group for coming by the shop and giving us all the tech specs and insider knowledge about both the Manitou Mastodon Comp and Mastodon Pro fat bike forks.  We have both the Pro and Comp versions in stock here at our shop in Milwaukee and online by following the above links.
