Traitor Cycles Crusade Disk

Traitor Cycles recently announced the availability of the Crusade Disk race specific cyclocross frameset that will be available in August. We're fans of their products and always try to support other small companies in the industry so we wanted to do a quick post about this new frameset. Plus we think the Crusade looks pretty slick.

Traitor Cycles in based in Washington and is in the middle of cyclocross country so I'm sure they had plenty of opportunity to learn what people are looking for in a race ready cyclocross disk brake frameset. There are a lot of companies out there right now making disk brake cyclocross bikes/framesets that are geared for cross but can also be used as a cross-commuter bike but this isn't one of them. Other Traitor Cycles models include the Traitor Ruben, Traitor Cutlass and Traitor Slot. More info below about Traitor Bikes below:

The Crusade is our race specific cyclocross frameset designed to be a competitive bike for all levels of racing. The new Crusade is disc only so you can save your rims from getting destroyed every season. Our new custom forged stainless steel dropout allows you to run a geared setup or singlespeed with a QR for ultra quick wheel changes if needed. The toptube has internal routing so no cables to get in the way of shouldering your bike and the headtube goes to 44mm in case you want to run a carbon tapered steertube fork. If you are addicted to cross racing like we are you know how much fun a steel cross bike can be and the new Crusade is our approach to making a no compromise racer.
