Draft Milwaukee: A PeopleforBikes Meetup

On Thursday March 2nd, 2017 Fyxation will be hosting the first ever PeopleforBikes Draft Meetup here in Milwaukee. Join us for a fast-paced hour of ideas, entrepreneurs and bikes, capturing some of the exciting things happening for Milwaukee Bikes, Biz & Beer.

PeopleforBikes is rolling out the Draft Meetups all across the country and we're excited to host the first one in Wisconsin here at our shop and HQ. The purpose of these events is to get the local bike industry together to network, share ideas and spend time with like minded individuals. We've been a part of 2 of the Draft Meetups out west and they really are a great event to attend. In addition to getting to know the rest of the industry in our area, it's a great chance to learn about local events, news in the industry and exciting things happening in the world of bike. 

We'll have beer on tap from our friends at Lakefront Brewery, 4 diverse speakers from our industry (to be announced) and we expect to have a great turnout. The night starts off with a bit of socializing (beer drinking) followed by a program of speakers with Q&A to follow each speaker. The Draft Meetups we've attended have had a mix of speakers ranging from Director of Outdoor Recreation from the State of Utah, product managers from Mavic and Rotor and even the head of a local Utah mountain bike club. The diverse group of speakers helps keep the event interesting for all and a healthy question and answer session really rounds out the event.
