Meet the Maker // Blue Steel Fabrication

Fyxation is proud to announce the first in a series of events we'll be hosting designed to celebrate the creative, hands on talent of local makers and designers; Meet the Maker. Join us here at our new shop in Riverwest for an evening of frame building with Paul Reardon, owner and fabricator at Blue Steel Fabrication. Paul will be on hand to discuss what goes into designing and producing a custom bicycle, tube joining techniques and even a frame brazing demo! Doors open at 6:00pm on February 28th with refreshments provided by Colectivo Coffee

Space is limited so please RSVP here to get a spot at this great event.

ABOUT BLUE STEEL FABRICATION

Blue Steel Fabrication is a custom bicycle frame builder based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We came to meet Paul at the Downer Avenue Criterium this last year and Joel from Fyxation HQ immediately started planning his own ideal custom fabricated bicycle with Paul. Joel worked out custom geometry around the Fyxation Quiver and the Trek 170. Once the geometry was ironed out, Joel and Paul settled on Columbus SL tubing, Cinelli lugs and stainless dropouts.  Blue Steel Fabrication lends their expertise to the design and construction of custom bicycles, so like Joel, you end up with your dream build!
