The Gates Slim Pedal Strap Kit combines the best features of our thin bodied Gates Slim Pedal with our durable Gates Pedal Strap and allows us to bring you a rugged and durable pedal/strap combination.

Gates Slim Pedal Strap Kit

Love it, I bought some straps 4 years ago and they finally had their time after 4 heavy winters. Didn’t think twice about buying them again.

Couldn't be happier

I bike commute full time, and have been searching for pedals that aren't too slippery in wet weather. I have found just the set in these. I feel comfortable biking in all conditions, including downpours and knowing my foot is secure, not only because of the pedals, but the strap as well. They are great. I'll be getting ready to take them on a tour once spring hits and can't wait for longer days in them.

Excellent pedals!

These pedals and straps have been flawless so far on my State Bicycle Co. 4130. Super grippy pedals and the straps feel extremely durable. I will definitely order another pair in the future!

Nice pedals, needed a touch of adjustment

Great pedals to ride with. New pedals were a bit tight in the bearings, but easily adjustable.

Great retention without needing new shoes

I was looking for a way to wear my regular shoes while having retention on the pedal and after a couple experiments with toe clips I was recommended to try these. I hated the feeling of toe clips and these fit far more comfortably, even for my relatively larger size 13 shoes. They were easy to install (and big thanks to Fyxation for putting a how-to video for the straps on youtube for an idiot like me) and after some adjustment, they've been a fantastic upgrade.
