This modern take on a classic Dutch style step through bike. rides and shifts with ease thanks to Shimano's 3 speed Nexus hub and twist shifter. We've rounded out the Third Ward with fenders, rack and kickstand so you'll be ready to roll!

Built around a simple and reliable Shimano 3 speed hub with an easy to use twist shifter, this bike features elegant 1 color paint and simple styling. Finished off by matching painted fenders, painted chain guard and a built in rack, this bike is perfect for any city.

what size bike?

We recommend that you size your bike based on your height and inseam. This insures you have proper clearance over the top tube, and the other fit dimension's will fall in line. Great bike but the color does NOT match what you see in the photos

I really wanted one of these bikes and Fyxation was one of the few companies that offered it in my size. I'm just barely 5'4", petite and like to flat foot when I stop. Every other bike felt massive! I love that this one is both my size and that it has 26" wheels. If you're 5 feet tall or shorter and like to flat foot, I'd recommend the kids 24" bike from Public bikes. The size small from Fyxation just barely fit me with the seat only raised about an inch. This bike feels very solid and has some heft to it that I was not expecting. It's definitely not a cheap bike and was built to last. It's nice to see a company still committed to quality while others pump out cheap junk bikes. My one criticism is the color. It's is more of a vibrant grassy green or ninja turtle green than a soft sage green. I was expecting a softer sage green so this was a bit of a disappointment, but I can live with it. I wish they would update the stock photo so it better represents the color or start making them in a softer classic sage green or even a mint color.

Good bike, bad shipping

It's a great bike - bigger than I expected, since it says it's fine for people 5' 0", but I can make it work. And even though it arrived much sooner than I expected, it did have some damage to the rear fender (I know that's not Fyxation's fault).

Great for a non-athlete!

As gas prices are on the rise I needed a way to get around my mid-city neighborhood, but I hadn’t rode a bike since 8th grade. I absolutely love 3rd Ward bike! It has just enough gears for me to get up hills and move around with out being all that fit (or good at biking) yet. I’ve named it Evelyn in honor of the vintage “coastal grama” vibes. I absolutely love it :)

Love It!

This is a beautiful bike, a little more green than I thought it would be, which I loved! My husband and I were able to assemble it without too much difficulty. It rides very well. We also enjoyed working with Fyxation. We changed our order twice and they were kind and helpful both times. So glad we were able to get exactly what we wanted.

Bought this bike for my wife for mother's day. It is a very nice and well-made bike from a local company. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cruiser to take around town or on bike rides with the family.

how does my bike ship?

Our complete bikes ship via UPS Ground in a well padded professional bike box. Orders that arrive by 2 p.m. CST weekdays ship same day. You can track your bike online or through the Shop App.

The bikes ship 95% assembled and you'll simply need a few tools to get your bike built up and on the road. As always, we recommend taking your bike to your local bike shop to get it built up properly.
