Lake Front Brewery's Fixed Gear Ale

There are two things I really love about Milwaukee; one is our cycling culture and the other is our brewing heritage. When one of our best local craft brewers decides to combine both, you can't help but get excited. Inspired by the spirit of the fixed gear courier, Lake Front Brewery crafted a distinct American red ale full of bold flavor and a delightful crimson hue that is worthy of its namesake. I ran into Andy of Lake Front at a local beer tasting and he breaks down what makes up this unique local brew.
