When we released the Mesa slim pedal we knew we had a great package; lightweight impact grade nylon body, double sealed outer bearing / sealed inner bushing, and an ultra-slim profile. We'll it's clear that the Fat Bike community is also tuned into the benefits of the Mesa.

While it's wide platform and sealed system is perfect for adverse trail conditions, the impact grade Nylon body has the added benefit of insulating your foot from the giant heat sink which is your bike. While not a big deal in warm months, anyone who isn't afraid of riding when the thermometer dives knows alloy pedals can rob your feet of needed warmth.

While the Mesa has found it's way on to Fat Bikes thanks in part to reviews from sites like fat-bike.com, we were stoked to see the crew at Surly outfitting them on their Pugsleys, Moonlanders and even the Troll at Frostbike.

Expanding on the Mesa platform, we are releasing a replaceable metal pin version of the Mesa geared towards riders looking for more grip when conditions get sloppy. The Mesa MP uses the same proven system as the Mesa, but adds metal pins that can be easily replaced with a hex wrench.
